Havana Nines wanted to create a gift program with a vintage Cuba twist.
A retailer of men’s fashion, Havana Nines manufactures and sells high-end Caribbean-inspired menswear. Definition created and branded a line of vintage Cuba-inspired t-shirts and caps, providing them with a lower cost offering, complementing the higher priced menswear in their stores. The first season’s products were an overwhelming success, so for the spring season of 2010 they asked us to help expand the program. We created a new set of tees and caps, plus a complementary range of hard goods. We designed custom packaging for each piece, mimicking the look of vintage cigar boxes. We also designed their in-store POS and a print catalog for their wholesale efforts.  We are currently working on a new season of t-shirt designs for Fall 2010.

UF wanted to create a custom learning experience online.
Using an online educational platform called EcoLearnIt, University of Florida presented us with the challenge of creating 3 Reusable Learning Objects (RLO’s), using course material covering spatial navigation. These custom RLOs are essentially Flash-based multimedia presentations featuring interactivity, animation, video, and audio narrations. The look & feel of the presentations were created to play off of the subject matter, while displaying the information and visuals in a clear and intuitive manner. Special care was given to crafting the user interface for maximum user experience.

Homestead FOP wanted the ability to manage their off-duty police jobs online.
Accustomed to using an old-fashioned bulletin board method of posting and signing up for jobs, the Homestead Fraternal Order of Police wanted to take a more modern and accessible approach. Definition built them a custom website using a content management system, implementing a system of job posting, job application and job management. An administrator posts new job details, registered officers are notified automatically via email and can then apply for these jobs in a private section of their website. The administrator receives applications and awards to the appropriate candidates. The private “members only” areas of the site also serve as community section with photo galleries and other useful private content.

Tropical Fruit News wanted a fresh and professional new look.
TFN is a bi-monthly publication targeted to growers, researchers and enthusiasts of tropical fruit. It is a project of the Rare Fruit Council International. Definition began working with RFCI in January of 2008 and reshaped the identity of the magazine. With a fresh new masthead and a clean layout, TFN has steadily increased its subscription base and received high praise from staff and readers alike.

Gables Fitness asked us to take their website to a new level.
No stranger to e-marketing, Gables Fitness co-owner and fitness trainer, Glenn Greer, wanted a new web platform to go along with his company’s rebranding. The company’s old site allowed him to post and edit content, but the look and formatting of the old site was outdated. Definition created a new site for Gables Fitness using a content management system (CMS). We gave them a more modern look, tying in to their new company branding. We trained the Gables Fitness staff to use the CMS admin and maintain their site, taking online payments, managing new leads, as well as managing their content.

TFGSF wanted to recreate their brand identity.
A collective of tropical fruit growers in South Florida had received grant funding to help market and create awareness for locally grown fruit. Dealing with politicians and  large grocery retailers, TFGSF wanted an identity for their organization that would help them be taken seriously. With the need to represent a wide variety of tropical fruits and with input from their diverse board of directors, Definition created a clean, professional and dynamic logo for the organization. The branding has been used on their website, in videos, and embroidered onto polos, helping enhance the perception of the organization.

B/E Aerospace asked us to help them stand out at the Corporate Run.
Having just undergone a merger and subsequent rebranding, B/E wanted a Corporate Run t-shirt design to tie in closely with the new branding.  Definition worked closely with them and carefully crafted a design that captured the spirit of the run, while emphasizing their brand identity and making a visual reference to their industry.

Trifecta came to us as a blank canvas.
An entrepreneurial triathlon racing team wanted to create a multi-tiered brand reflecting their competitive, fixed-gear riding lifestyle. We defined the Trifecta brand from the ground up, carefully developing their brand identity, apparel line, team racing gear and website. We designed Trifecta to be a movement, with trifectagear.com serving as the hub for the Trifecta Revolution. The site showcases a line of men’s and women’s tees we created, as well as the Team T3 triathlon skinsuits we designed for them to compete in style.

Nephron wanted a clean and conservative approach to their brand identity.
Their goal was to launch a medical recruitment business with an inviting and professional looking brand. We meticulously developed the Nephron brand identity, with a symbolic emphasis on connectivity.  From the company logo and print stationery to the brand’s website, the converging arrows subtly illustrate Nephron’s mission of Bringing medical professionals together.

The dropout rate in our community’s schools has reached an alarming level.
Acknowledging that the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow, Definition proudly supports City Year Miami for their impact in our underachieving public schools and the community as a whole. An active member of their marketing committee, Definition is responsible for helping to plan and launch their social media initiative, as well as collateral design for their 1st annual gala event. Both projects are currently in progress, check back soon for results.

Your College Connector’s identity had to appeal to students and parents alike.
As a facilitator to the college process, YCC’s goal is to link prospective college students to the information they need to make decisions about their college futures. After crafting a contemporary brand identity, Definition designed a clean and intuitive website, also implementing a complementary social media plan. Resting in the logo, the linking “o’s” are used throughout the print stationery, website, and social media pages emphasizing connectivity.

T-Shirts Plus Color, a screen printing and embroidery company with 18 years of experience, wanted a fresh new look for their brand. They asked us to create a new brand identity that would modernize their image and help them stand out in a competitive industry. They also wanted an easy to use website that would help attract customers and inform them of new services. We responded with a playful and iconic look, emphasizing the +COLOR in their
catchy name.

B-Line needed creative solutions to complement their world-class production standards.
An industry leader in apparel production. B-Line turned to Definition to provide premium creative services for themselves, as well as their clients. We helped them create and pitch campaign concepts to existing high-level clients, with an apparel component at the core. We also designed and developed their company website, presentation materials, and a catalog of their products and services.

Cocoa Couture wanted a chic, elegant and feminine look for their brand.
As a new fashion boutique in Pinecrest, Florida, Cocoa Couture sought to stand out by offering stylish, carefully selected items at moderate prices. We created a brand identity to attract their target market, using colors that both highlight the name of the company and create an appealing setting to showcase their products in-store and online. In addition to all of their marketing materials, press kit and staff tees, Definition has directed photo shoots and created full-page ads for Cocoa Couture in local and national fashion magazines.

Earth Happy wanted to create a brand that would attract a dynamic following.
In response we developed the Earth Happy Movement, a fun and spirited branding campaign designing their apparel & accessory line, hang tags, in-store POS, print stationery, catalog and line sheet, buyer kit, website, trade show booth and high-end sales presentations. With artwork and involvement from licensed artists, such as the internationally renowned Romero Britto, Definition designed and developed the overall vision for the line, as well composing the art for each piece and following through to production.

With Everywear, we helped to build the entire brand from scratch.
From the name to the brand identity, website to marketing materials, apparel line, trade ads and trade show booth, Definition was responsible for molding and defining this brand from the very start. Everywear creates destination apparel for gift shops throughout the US and Caribbean, so we gave the brand a global look, with a logo and color scheme reminiscent of the earth. Our involvement resulted in a tight and cohesive brand, with a consistent voice across all marketing materials.

Our client stands up for the little guys, we helped their brand stand out.
The Condo Clinic is a Miami law firm that represents individuals in legal disputes with large condominium associations. Because attorney advertisements are limited by rules established by state bar associations, we set out to create a clean and modern design that would easily convey their brand within the parameters set forth by the Florida Bar. The website and marketing materials present their services with clarity, and set a tone of competence and confidence.

A major custom apparel company wanted to expand their offering to smaller local clients.
With the help of Definition, they created a spinoff brand to address this new customer base. They wanted to simplify the process for clients to order limited quantities of printed t-shirts, and turned to us to create their brand identity and a basic web presence. We created a friendly character with a cheerful 1950s look to visually convey their service-with-a-smile attitude, welcoming new clients to approach a big company with a small order.

The name says it all, and our job was to make the brand shine.
As a large manufacturer of children’s princess costumes, our client had a warehouse full of remnant fabric. With our help, they launched Glitzy Fabric as a new company and online shop to sell their excess fabric and create an additional source of revenue. Incorporating a playful look to appeal to the target market of designers and crafters, the design is clean and cheerful, and helps the glittering fabrics look their best.

The challenge was to capture the look and feel of a dream vacation spot.
Warm, earthy colors and a clean layout help convey luxury and casual elegance for the branding of this rental property on Treasure Cay in the Bahamas. The website includes a booking engine and search engine optimization. Guests of the property are treated to custom printed shirts and embroidered caps and bathrobes designed by Definition.

The Knitting Garden wanted a web presence they could keep up-to-the-minute themselves.
Definition designed and developed their website using a CMS (Content Management System), allowing the client access to manage site updates and embedded event calendar. Definition also took it as an opportunity to expand upon the existing preliminary brand identity, refining the look and feel of the overall brand through the site layout.
